Dr. Omega Nguhuni was born in 1987 in Wang'ing'ombe, located in the Njombe region of Tanzania. He is a dedicated dental surgeon with a strong clinical dentistry and oral healthcare background. Currently, he serves as the Dental Surgeon and Head of the Dental Department at the University of Dar es Salaam Hospital.

Dr. Nguhuni began his journey in the dental field 16 years ago, earning a Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from Bulongwa Health Sciences Institute, successfully completing the three-year program in 2013. His passion for dentistry and commitment to professional growth motivated him to pursue further education.

In 2021, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from the School of Dentistry at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) after five years of rigorous study. Following graduation, he completed a one-year internship at Lugalo General Military Hospital in Dar es Salaam, gaining hands-on experience in dental surgery, patient care, and advanced clinical procedures.

With experience in both public and private dental practices, Dr. Nguhuni continues to contribute significantly to oral healthcare in Tanzania. His expertise in general and clinical dentistry makes him a valuable professional in promoting and improving dental health services
