Ms. Getrude Kileo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Beekeeping Science and Technology and a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Assessment and Management. Her research interests are on bee species diversity, plant-pollinator interactions, biodiversity and the impacts of climatic and non-climatic stresses on bees. Notable achievements includes completion of a research on the impacts of climate variability on honey and beeswax production in Central and Southern highlands of Tanzania, providing insights into climate variability’s effects on beekeeping.
