Leonard Jamhuri is a Mechanical Technician with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Mbeya University of Science and Technology. He has extensive experience in mechanical systems, industrial machinery, and precision engineering, specializing in maintenance, fabrication, and design.
Leonard has worked at Kagera Sugar Limited as a Mechanical Technician, where he was responsible for maintaining and optimizing industrial machinery used in sugar production. His work focused on improving mechanical systems to enhance productivity and reduce operational downtime.
Additionally, he served as a Technician at the National Irrigation Commission (NIRC), contributing to the rehabilitation project for the Idudumo Irrigation Scheme. His role involved optimizing irrigation infrastructure, maintaining mechanical components, and ensuring the efficient operation of agricultural water systems.
Leonard is proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical, FluidSIM, and Arduino IDE, as well as AutoCAD 3D Civil, ArchiCAD, and QGIS for technical design, mechanical simulations, system planning, and embedded systems programming. His strong technical background allows him to develop practical engineering solutions that improve industrial and agricultural efficiency.
