Dr. Baraka Kaisi Karim, MD – Medical Doctor & Tutorial Assistant

Education Background:

Dr. Baraka Kaisi Karim completed his undergraduate studies at the Muhimbili University of Health and allied Sciences(MUHAS), where he earned doctor of medicine (MD) with honors. During his undergraduate years, he was actively involved in research projects related to non communicable diseases which deepened her interest in the medical field.

Medical Training & Professional Experience:

Following her graduation, Dr. Baraka completed his internship at Lugalo General Military Hospital, where he worked in a variety of departments, gaining broad exposure to clinical practice and patient management.

Current Role as Tutorial Assistant:

Dr. Baraka is currently serving as a Tutorial Assistant at the University of Dar es salaam-Mbeya Collage of Healthy and Allied Science(MCHAS) , where he helps guide second-year medical students through their studies. In this role, he is responsible for leading small-group discussions and providing academic support.

Future Goals and Aspirations:

Looking ahead, Dr. Baraka aspires to pursue a career in academic medicine, combining his passion for teaching with his desire to provide high-quality patient care. Currently Dr. Baraka is pursuing Master of Science in CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY at MUHAS .
