Zitta Lumato is a dedicated professional with a strong academic background in political science and public administration. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Dar es Salaam (2010-2013) and later pursued a Master’s degree in Public Administration (2021-2022) at Mzumbe University.

Since 2018, she has been an integral part of the University of Dar es Salaam, initially working under the Office of the Directorate of Research and Publications. Then  later transitioned to her current role with the UDSM Sida-Programme, a research project which aims at fostering Sustainability of Strategic Research and Innovation Systems for Inclusive Development in Tanzania.
