I hold a Master of Arts in Applied Social Psychology and a Bachelor of Education in Psychology from the University of Dar es Salaam, as well as a Diploma in Secondary Education from Dakawa Teachers’ College.
With extensive experience in teaching and educational research, I facilitate undergraduate courses in Educational Psychology, including Educational Measurement, Assessment, and Evaluation, Psychological Testing and Assessment, and Educational Research. I am actively involved in mentoring and supervising undergraduate students pursuing degrees in education. Beyond teaching, I serve as the Examination Officer for the Department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies.
My research interests focus on educational assessment, teacher professional development, and the integration of 21st-century skills in education. I am particularly interested in how teachers assess soft skills to enhance holistic learning and graduate preparedness.
I have contributed to various research and educational projects aimed at improving educational practices in Tanzania, serving as an Assistant Researcher and as a pre-service and in-service teacher trainer. My work seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the classroom, ensuring that education remains inclusive, relevant, and impactful.
