Nathanael Rainald Komba

Biography

Dr. Nathanael R. Komba is a dedicated lecturer in physical chemistry at the University of Dar es Salaam’s Chemistry Department. He completed his BSc with Education in 2004 and his MSc in 2012, both from the same university. After that, in 2014, he was awarded a prestigious UNESCO Chair for Materials and technologies for energy conversion, saving and storage (MATECSS) Excellence Scholarship, which allowed him to pursue a PhD at the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique at the University of Quebec in Canada, where he graduated in 2019. His research interests are quite broad, covering areas of electrochemistry, corrosion science, nanomaterials, electrocatalysis, and energy conversion devices. Dr. Komba is passionate about promoting sustainable energy solutions through innovative materials research.
