Eva M. Sosovele (PhD) is Principal Scientist in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBB). She holds an MSc in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Biotechnology, specializing on marine ecosystems.
Her research interest rotates around on marine microbial ecosystems, focusing on bacteria and fungi of mangroves ecosystems. She has also worked in various aquatic ecosystems of Tanzania with focal point on microbial diversity, economic importance and water quality in relation to environmental factors. She has published a number of papers in international journals.
