Before this post she was serving as the College Research Coordinator in the College of Natural and Applied Sciences as well as the Examination officer and Undergraduate Studies Coordinator for Chemistry Department. She has served on a number of committees both within and outside the university, organized and attended several local/international conferences and symposia. Dr. Munissi is a Lecturer and Researcher in Chemistry with her research interests centered on the chemistry of natural products from both plants and fungi.
