The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa (MP), and a distinguished alumnus of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) has graced the University pavilion at the renowned Sabasaba grounds  on 5th July, 2023, and commended the institution for its worthwhile research and innovation projects.

UDSM Deputy Vice Chancellor-Planning, Administration and Finance, Prof. Bernadeta Killian and other University leaders explained to the Prime Minister about the various research projects, academic programmes and other services offered by UDSM. 

The Prime Minister's visit served as a testament to the significance of the research and innovations being conducted by our esteemed University, aimed at addressing various challenges facing our Nation.

During his visit, Hon. Majaliwa had the opportunity to witness firsthand the cutting-edge research projects and innovative solutions developed by our talented students and faculty members. These endeavors are specifically designed to tackle critical issues that have been hindering progress and development in Tanzania.
