Mr. Abihudi Semotine Sembosi is an assistant lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC). His areas of specialization are corporate communication, marketing communication, strategic public relations, media relations, corporate social responsibility and advertising. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in public relations and advertising (2014) and Master of Arts in Mass Communication (2017) from the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr. Sembosi has been appointed several times as Quality Assurance Officer at the University of Dar es Salaam. Mr. Sembosi has experience of both teaching and practicing communication. Before joining the academic team of the University of Dar es Salaam in Nov 2017 as an assistant lecturer on part time terms and then Feb 2020 as permanent employee, he worked with several organizations including The Guardian (The Guardian and Nipashe newspapers) as sales executive officer, Dar es Salaam City Council (DCC) as an assistant public relations and protocol, City FM Radio as Marketing officer, Morning Star FM Radio as marketing and communications officer and Guava Communication Company as Operations manager. He has also been a board member of Kinyerezi Adventist Pre and Primary School. Mr. Sembosi has also been teaching Marketing and Public Relations on part time terms at the National Institute of Transport from May 2016. He is currently looking forward to join PhD studies.
