He holds a B.Sc. (Education) degree with specialization in Mathematics and Physics, a Master degree in Management Science and a PhD in Mathematics specializing in Operations Research. Allen Mushi’s research interest is in Operations Research especially in Combinatorial Optimization Problems. He has researched and published in the areas of Academic Timetabling, Industrial Scheduling, Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis, Exact and Heuristic Solutions to Complex Optimization problems, Municipal Solid Waste Management Systems Optimization and recently on agricultural irrigation systems optimization. He has been teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Operations Research since his employment.
