Mary Ashery Malekela is a holder a degree in International Economic Relations and a Masters of Arts in Rural Development. She is the TPP In-Country Program Officer. Mary began working with TPP in February 2011. Prior to joining TPP, she worked with a local NGO named KINNAPA in the rural Kiteto District as Assistant Program Coordinator, Administrative and Personnel Officer from 1999 to 2003. In September 2003 she joined the Jifunze Project also in Kibaya Village, Kiteto District, Manyara Region and worked as Country Director.  As Country Director, Mary managed the Community Education Resource Center (CERC) in Kiteto District and built capacity among its partners. Mary graduated from Sokoine University of Agriculture with a Masters of Arts in Rural Development in 2010. Upon joining TPP in February 2011, Mary worked as In Country Assistant Coordinator and in February 2012 she became the TPP In Country Program Officer where she oversees the coordination and implementation of the Tanzania Partnership Program activities.
