Ibrahim A Mwammenywa received a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering degree from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 2014; and Masters in Information and Communications Science and Engineering degree from Nelson Mandela – African Institution of Science and Technology, Tanzania in 2019.

He is an academician and a researcher in the electronics, electrical, and ICT fields. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and working on the ART-D Grids Project under Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Hilleringmann, in Sensor Technology Group at the University of Paderborn. His research interests include the integration of ICT solutions into the electric grid i.e., smart-grid.

Registered Professional Engineer - Engineering Registration Board (ERB) Tanzania.
