Current Summarised CV:	Namtero John Newa is a Tutorial Assistant at the University of Dar es Salaam, in the Department of Crop Sciences and Beekeeping Technology. She conducts seminars, tutorials and practicals in Beekeeping Science courses including Honey Bee Genetics and Breeding and Bee physiology.  Ms. Newa also conducts researches and assists undergraduate students in experimental setups for research projects. She has research interests in honeybee gut microbiome and physiology. Currently, Ms. Newa is also pursuing a Masters in Beekeeping Science and Technology (UDSM) where she is studying the diversity and composition of honeybee gutmicrobiome and its effects in bee fitness.
