Search for Staff

Dr. Zubeda Seif Mussa is a lecturer in the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics (PMI), at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education. She holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland (2015), M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Dar es salaam, Dar es salaam, Tanzania (2008), and BSc.Ed. in Mathematics and Physics, from the from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (2003). She also attended a Diploma Education Course (Physics and Mathematics) from Dar es Salaam Teachers College. Her area of specialization is Data Assimilation and she is also doing research in Mathematical Epidemiology and advanced statistics. Zubeda Collaborated with other researchers in doing Scientific projects and projects in Mathematics Education focusing on improving performance of the subject. She also holds administrative position as head of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics (PMI) Department at DUCE. Zubeda is a vice Chairperson  of the Tanzania Women in Mathematics (TWM).
