International Africa Climate Conference held at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC, Arusha – Tanzania) from 15th - 18th October, 2013

The Africa Climate Conference 2013 was organised and hosted by the University of Dar es Salaam through the Centre for Climate Change Studies. The conference which was organized under the auspices of the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) and the African Climate Policy Center (ACPC) brought together 378 decision-makers and climate researchers, scientists and practitioners from Africa and around the world. The aim of the conference was to identify knowledge on the African climate system, define the African Agenda for future climate research and develop a main framework for mainstreaming climate information into decision making.
