We are proud to announce that the "Everyday Humanitarianism in Tanzania" project has been awarded the Best Research Project Group with Multidisciplinary Impact at the University of Dar es Salaam's 9th Research and Innovation Week. This prestigious recognition highlights the project's significant contributions to various academic fields and its real-world impact in Tanzania and beyond.
Since 2015, UDSM’s annual Research and Innovation Week has showcased the most innovative and impactful research conducted by the university's scholars. This year's theme, "Fostering Research and Innovation through University-Industry Partnership," set the stage for 29 outstanding projects from 13 UDSM colleges. EHTZ distinguished itself with its comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach, integrating insights from social sciences and humanities to address complex humanitarian challenges.
The project's success is a testament to the collaboration of the entire research team, whose work not only advances academic understanding but also influences practical humanitarian efforts in Tanzania and beyond. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved and look forward to seeing the continued impact of our research.
