On September 30th to October 2nd , 2020, the Confucius institute at the university of Dar es salaam conducted a three days training program for staffs ,the Confucius institute Tanzanian director Prof. Mutembei, 7 local teachers and 6 administrative staff attend the training. The training program aimed at giving the staff skills to fire fighting at work place, social funds and retirement plan as well as safety and health at work place.
On the first day, the institute invited two officers from the Tanzanian Army Fire and Rescue Force Mr Imani Hassan and Ms Ashura Abdallah. The two officers conducted a 5 hours lecture on fire at work place and how to stop the fire as well practicing fire fighting.
On the second day, the institute invited Mr Maulid Mwanyange from University of Dar es Salaam’s Directorate of Human Resources and Administration. Mr Mwanyange conducted a 5 hours lecture on the importance of staff joining social security funds and retirement plan.
On the last day, the institute invited Md Gloria Bonaventure a Training Officer Manager from Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHA), Md Bonaventure conducted a 6 hours lecture on safety at work place as well as the importance of stable health at work physically and mentally.
