All Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation between the University of Dar es Salaam and international institutions are centrally processed and signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Dar es Salaam.

All units of the University of Dar es Salaam which desire to establish cooperation with international institutions or organisations are supposed to submit drafts of MoU to the Vice Chancellor through the Directorate of Internationalization, Convocation, and Advancement (DICA). DICA shall coordinate the processing of MoUs with the office of the Corporate Counsel and Secretary to Council. MoUs must be submitted by or through the Principals, Deans and Directors.
