On July 18th 2022, the PSGR Krishnammal College for Women donated books worth USD 25,000 to the library of the University of Dar es Salaam to contribute to knowledge, teaching and research.

The University of Dar es Salaam and PSGR Krishnammal College for Women signed a memorandum of understanding in December 2019 for academic and research cooperation. The partnership has so far involved bilateral exchange visits of staff (Zoology, chemistry, business, ICT, gender and top management), writing a joint research proposal (Zoology), jointly organised an online scientific conference (Chemistry) and hosting of a visiting professor (Zoology).

Giving his speech after receiving books worth USD 13,000, the Vice Chancellor Prof. William Annangisye said that the University of Dar es Salaam is grateful for this donation and continues to pledge its commitment to internationalization and specifically to the partnership with PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, and pledges the UDSM Community to ensure proper utilization of the books for the academic and research purpose.
