On Friday 3rd March 2023, the University of Dar es Salaam through its Directorate of Internationalization, Convocation and Advancement (DICA) organized a farewell dinner with international students to bid goodbye to some of its Occasional students who have finished their time of studies at UDSM.

Speaking on behalf of the Guest of Honor, Dr. Ramadhani Lupa stated that the University of Dar es Salaam has initiated the Internationalization Policy which will allow all units of the university to have a common road map that will guide the implementation of the UDSM mission internationally. Dr. Lupa urged the International students to be good ambassadors of the University of Dar es Salaam and invite more friends and colleagues to join the University of Dar es Salaam.

On the same occasion, the Director of the Directorate of Internationalization, Convocation, and Advancement (DICA) Dr. Augustina Alexander expressed gratitude to all students for their involvement and participation in all activities organized by her Directorate and emphasized that the University of Dar es Salaam has opened its hands to all International partners for cooperations and exchange opportunities.

The farewell party was filled with drinks and dances from the Creative arts bands and International students participants, who vibed a lot to different African songs and dances.

The University of Dar es Salaam wishes well all its International students and together say Adios.
