Dr. Victoria Moshy is a Lecturer at the Institute of Resource Assessment (IRA), University of Dar es Salaam. She has over 16 years’ experience of teaching and working with communities. She is a Social Scientist with a PhD in Environment and Development Studies. Since 2017 to date, she has been serving as In-Country Program Coordinator for Tanzania Partnership Program (TPP), A long term partnership program for enhancing sustainable community development, engaging Michigan State University, University of Dar es Salaam, Sokoine University of Agriculture, Monduli District and Naitolia village, and Lindi Municipal and Milola village. She also serves as In-Country Faculty Leader for the Tanzania Partnership Program (TPP) Study Abroad Program. Her areas of academic and research interest are on human-environment interactions, focusing on the social aspects of social-ecological resilience, livelihoods, gender issues, climate change and sustainable community development.
