Current Summarised CV: | Mr. Patrick Erasto Mlinga is an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Institute of Development Studies (IDS). He received his Master’s Degree in Public Administration-(Policy Studies) at the Sung Kyun Kwan University (SKKU) Seoul, South Korea in 2012 and a Bachelor Degree with honors in Statistics at the University of Dar es Salaam in 2009. He has over 6 years of teaching and research. He has also been the Chief Coordinator for Undergraduate Studies at IDS from 2013 to 2015. His research and consultancy interests lie in the areas of Urbanization and development, development policy and Policy Analysis. In addition to teaching and research, Mr. Mlinga has been a member of a capacity building project called the Consortium for Health Policy and Systems Research in Africa (CHEPSAA) where he has received a number of trainings on Health policy and system research between 2013 and 2015. He has also received a capacity building training on Urbanization and health: System Approaches, from the United Nations International Institute for Global Health in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in 2014. He is currently holding a three years PhD position in a research project on Urbanization, titled “Doing the City: Social Spacial Navigation in Urban Africa”. The project is nested at the Institute of African Studies, University of Leipzig, Germany. |
