• Provide NHIF application forms
• Collect and submit NHIF application forms to NHIF office on behalf of the UDSM staff
• Collect and distribute NHIF cards to UDSM staff
• Coordinate NHIF issues regarding on the loss of NHIF cards
• Assist UDSM staff on NHIF  cards verification
• Assist UDSM staff to communicate with NHIF Offices on any issues regarding treatment (e.g. card reject and card activation)
• Facilitates temporal IDs to the employees who need medical attention before having NHIF card
