Damas Paul Kamala is serving the public sector as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam - School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He is a skilled media trainer, coach, and communications professional with over 5 years of experience teaching journalism, media studies and public relations in a higher education setting, as well as working as a media and communications consultant for several local and international media and non-profit organizations.

Kamala, who exudes confidence, also gives presentations at conferences, panels, and leadership sessions. Moreover, Mr. Kamala is a Researcher, Public Relations Maven, Journalist, Community Mentor, Conference and or Event Moderator and or Facilitator, Social and Behaviour Change Adept and a Voice Over Artist.

After attending training sessions in African and European countries, he has professional fluency in modern techniques for digital storytelling, broadcasting, audience engagement, and multi-platform reporting.

Before Joining the University of Dar es Salaam, Mr. Kamala has worked as an Assistant Lecturer for two private universities in Tanzania.
