The Center for Economic Research and Policy (CERP)

The Center for Economic Research and Policy (CERP) in the School of Economics, University of Dar es Salaam was established as a way of bolstering economic research through an improved institutional arrangement with the School of Economics.  It is the aim of UDSE that all research effort be coordinated under the rubric of the CERP. 

The objectives of CERP include:

• Carrying out research in support of economic and social development of Tanzania;
• To carry out multi-disciplinary research with the aim of capturing multi-stakeholders from both within and outside Tanzania;
• Initiate writing proposals for funding; (d) develop capacity of junior researchers; and (e) publish the research findings in various outlets.
