Prof. Siasa Mzenzi is the Director of Planning, Development and Investment (DPDI). He is an Associate Professor in Accounting at the Department of Accounting, University of Dar es Salaam Business School (UDBS) of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). He holds a PhD in Accounting from University of Southampton, United Kingdom. Also, he holds Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) in accounting both from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) registered by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA). As a Director of Planning, Development and Investment (DPDI), Prof. Siasa is responsible for all short-term, medium term and long-term planning, development and investment initiatives at the University. In the past, Prof. Siasa has worked with Ernst & Young (Tanzania) as an Auditor and KPMG (Tanzania) as an audit trainee. He is also a member of the British Accounting and Finance Association-Special Interest Group (BAFA-SIG) for accounting in less developed and emerging economies as well as the African Accounting and Finance Association (AAFA).
Prof. Siasa has more than fifteen (15) years’ experience in teaching and consulting in different areas including corporate governance, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate social responsibility, risk management, strategic planning, and organization structure and functions. He is also a reviewer of the various academic journals including outstanding one published by Emerald such as Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies (JAEE) and Managerial Auditing Journal (MAJ)-Assurance, Management Performance and Governance.

Dr. David Peter Rwehikiza is the Resource Mobilization Manager of the University of Dar es Salaam. He is currently a lecturer in the marketing Department of the University of Dar es Salaam. He joined the University of Dar es Salaam since 2009. He is specialized in the areas of marketing, transportation and logistics. He holds a PhD in Business Administration of the University of Dar es Salaam, Masters of Science in International Transport and Logistics of the University of Dar es Salaam and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing of University of Dar es Salaam. He has also attended short graduate programmes including Logistics Management from KLU University in Germany, Market Access from UNICTAD Virtual Learning Institute, Demand Creation and Market Execution curriculum offered by BeveServe South Africa and other local programmes in the areas of Advocacy, and Change management. Being a University lecturer, he has extensive conducted several consultancies and training programmes. The consultancy areas include strategic planning, new products development, route to market strategies, project monitoring and evaluation; transport investment appraisal; Pricing for e-products, customer satisfaction surveys to mention but a few. David has facilitated several training programmes few of them include; Customer Care, Entrepreneurship, Fleet Management, Contract Management and Outsourcing, Project Monitoring and Evaluation.

Dr. Omari Zuberi is the Risk Management Coordinator in the Directorate of Planning, Development and Investment (DPDI). He is a Lecturer in Accounting at the Department of Accounting of the University of Dar es Salaam Business School (UDBS). He holds a PhD in Business Management from Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) Beijing, China. Dr. Zuberi is a member of Tax Revenue Appeals Tribunal in Tanzania and an affiliate member of Global Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He holds Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) in Accounting both from the University of Dar es Salaam. Dr. Zuberi has in the past worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers Tanzania and assistant accountant at Celtel Tanzania Limited. In due course Dr. Zuberi has accumulated knowledge and experience in Teaching, Research, Consultancy, Corporate Reporting, Auditing, Accounting, Taxation, Strategic and Business Planning, Financial Analysis, Risk Management and Internal Controls amongst others.
As a Risk Management Coordinator, Dr. Zuberi is responsible with overall coordination of implementation of risk management policy and strategy across the University; Manages development of appropriate risk management policies, procedures and systems; Collate and review all risk registers for consistency and completeness; Provide advice and tools to staff and management on risk management issues within the University; Promote understanding of and support for risk management including facilitation of risk management training; Oversee and update University-wide risk profiles, with input from risk owners; Ensure that relevant risk information is reported and escalated or cascaded, as the case may be, in a timely manner to the relevant University organs; Coordinate the monitoring and review of both the adequacy and effectiveness of risk treatment action plans; and Coordinate establishment of risk management database across the University.
