Programme Introduction:
The M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry programme offers courses that provide insight and exploration of the chemical processes and procedures applicable in producing chemical products. It focuses on equipping candidates with knowledge of chemical processes and methods to convert raw materials into valuable products. Thus, the programme aims to produce competent graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to sustain economic and technological progress through production and industries.
Programme Structure
The programme is offered by coursework and dissertation. The coursework runs over two semesters, including industrial visits and pieces of training in the first year of study. The second-year is devoted to the research and writing of a dissertation.

Entry Requirement
Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Chemistry from a recognized Institution of higher learning with at least a lower second class degree (GPA of not less than 2.7) or equivalent
Programme Duration: 24 months
Tuition Fee: TZS 4,250,000/= for Tanzanian applicants and USD 3,500 for Non-Tanzanian applicants.
