Ms Esther Evarist Mallya is an Assistant Librarian at University of Dar es Salaam - Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). She holds Master degree in Library and Information Studies from University of Dar es Salaam, Bachelor of Library and Information Science (Makerere University - Kampala Uganda), Diploma in Library and Information Studies from School of Library Archives and Documentation Studies (SLADS) in Bagamoyo and Lib@Web : Management of Electronic  Information and Digital Libraries Training from University of Antwerp, Belgium. During her carrier as a librarian, she attended various international Training Programs such as  “ICT and Pedagogical Development offered by Life Academy in University of Stockholm in Sweden and Professional Development Programme for the Next Generation African Library and Information Professionals from University of Pretoria in  South Africa.

Ms Esther Evarist Mallya’s area of interest is based on integration of ICT’s in the provision of services to the library.
