Dr Fatma Bakari Hamad is a Lecturer in Department of Chemistry, where she teaches physical Chemistry and related courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She holds PhD in Physical Chemistry from Ghent University, Belgium. Her research interests include; Homogeneous Catalysis, Heterogeneous Catalysis, Nanotechnology and Renewable energy. She is a founder member of Tanzania nanotechnology Initiative, TANi and a member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, OWSD.
