JULIUS S. CHIUYO
Assistant Lecturer, Dar Es Salaam University College Of Education
Education:
MSc (Physics), University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, 2013
Teaching:
- Atomic and Nuclear Physics
- Quantum Physics
- Classical Physics
- Thermodynamics
Research:
Medical Radiation Physics- Monte-Carlo simulations for radiotherapy which aims at improved dose delivery accuracy to cancer types with high incidence and high cure rates when detected and treated early which include cancers of the cervix and breast. I have also interests in environmental radiation physics especially investigation of radiation related exposure factors related to health with the aims of contributing to primary prevention of cancer and assessing how to best implement effective radiation protection.
