Amatha Mwapinga serves as a Library Officer in the Directorate of Library Services (DLS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). She has been an integral part of the University of Dar es Salaam since 2015. Amatha holds a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science from Mzumbe University and a Diploma in Information Studies from SLADS.

 Her expertise lies in the classification and cataloging of information materials, encompassing both electronic and print formats. Additionally, she specializes in records management, information literacy, and Sign Language (Tanzanian Sign Language).
