Elias Carol Temba is currently employed by the University of Dar es Salaam as a Library Officer II within the Directorate of Library Services (DLS). Since joining the University community in 2019, Elias has proven to be a valuable member. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Science in Library and Information Management from Mzumbe University in 2016. Furthermore, Elias holds a Diploma in Library and Information Studies acquired in 2013 from the School of Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies, along with a Certificate in Library and Information Studies obtained in 2010 from the same institution, the School of Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies (SLADS).

Elias specializes in organizing library materials (both electronic and print), records management, information literacy, and reader services. His academic background and professional expertise make Elias Carol Temba a valuable asset to the University's Directorate of Library Services, contributing significantly to the effective functioning of the library system.
