"Mwanaidi B. Mvungi is a Library Officer II in the Directorate of Library Services (DLS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). She has been working for the University of Dar es Salaam Directorate since 2019 to the present. Mwanaidi holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Management obtained in 2022 from the Open University of Tanzania and a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Studies obtained in 2011 from Tumaini University.

Her areas of specialization include the organization of library materials (both electronic and print), records management, information literacy, and reader services.
