On 28th August 2024, DUCE community, along with parents and guardians, gathered to celebrate a joyful graduation ceremony, marking a significant milestone for Standard Seven pupils. The event highlighted the pupils' achievements and served as a testament to the collective efforts invested throughout their school life.

A total of 135 students graduated, comprising 58 males (43%) and 77 females (57%). These graduates conveyed their heartfelt gratitude and earnest requests for continued support and cooperation from their teachers and the school community. They also expressed their appreciation for the school's unwavering commitment to providing quality education.

The ceremony was further enriched by the impressive talents and performances of the pupils, which included traditional dances, language skills, songs, poetry, parodies, and indigenous drumming. They showcased a variety of cultural expressions, such as traditional dances, Bongo flavor music, and Hindi performances. These presentations reflected the diverse talents and cultural richness within the school community.

The ceremony featured an inspiring speech from the distinguished Guest of Honour, the Chief Executive Officer of Flymark and Tours, Mr. Amani Kimaro. Speaking during the event, Mr Kimario encouraged parents to continue monitoring their children's learning and to support their education at home. He urged graduates to avoid negative influences but learn from successful individuals. He highlighted the importance of combining prayer with effort, and motivating students to strive for greater success than in previous years. In recognition of the staff's dedication and hard work, Mr. Kimaro pledged to provide financial and material support to the school community.

Presenting the brief note, the Head teacher Mr. Bubelwa Ishengoma, who was accompanied by the Assistant Head teacher Ms. Jackline Mrosso, acknowledged the collaborative support from the College Management, parents, guardians, and education officers. He appreciated the impressive performance and success demonstrated by the graduates throughout their school experiences. Mr. Ishengoma and the Guest of honor, took the opportunity to award certificates to all pupils who made outstanding contributions, both academically and in non-academic areas such as leadership, cleanliness, and sports.

The graduation ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of the students' accomplishments and a reminder of the crucial role community support plays in education. As the graduates prepare for the upcoming NECTA exams and the new academic year, the ceremony underscored the importance of fostering a supportive environment to ensure their continued growth and success.
