Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE), like other public institutions participated in the working session of the Board Chairpersons and Chief Executives of Public Institutions held at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC) from 27^th to 30^th August 2024. At this meeting, the Chairperson of the College’s Governing Board, Prof. William Anangisye, and the College Principal, Prof. Stephen Maluka, attended.

The working session was organized by the Office of the Treasury Registrar, and was officially opened by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan on 28^th August 2024. The meeting was guided by the theme "Strategies for Public Institutions and Organisations to Invest Outside Tanzania."

At the meeting, DUCE emerged as the ‘First Winner’ among the institutions that effectively implemented the Auditor General's (CAG) audit recommendations.

Speaking after receiving the award, Prof. Maluka expressed that the accolade is a source of pride and honor for the College, and congratulated everyone who contributed to that significant historical achievement.

Indeed, DUCE receives the award with pleasure from the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan. In this regard, the College community promises to continue working with professionalism, integrity, accountability, and honesty.
