Born in 1950 in Kagera Region. Justinian Clinton Joseph Galabawa is also a renowned professor of education specializing in educational planning, economics of education, financing of education and educational administration to mention only a few. Professor Justinian Clinton Joseph Galabawa was employed by the University of Dar es Salaam in the 1970s. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees at the University of Dar es Salaam (1972 -1975 and 1978 – 1979, respectively). Professor Justinian Clinton Joseph Galabawa also did a second Masters degree (Economics) at the Institute of Social Studies – The Hague in the Netherlands (1980-1982), and later got his PhD from the University of Alberta, Canada (1988). In 2005, Professor Justinian Clinton Joseph Galabawa delivered a topical professorial inaugural lecture titled: “Returns to Investment in Education: Startling Revelations and Alternatives before Tanzanians” (Professorial Inaugural Lecture Series No. 45). Professor Justinian Clinton Joseph Galabawa has extensively published in the areas of educational planning, economics of education, financing of education and educational administration. He has also written books singly and also co-authored. Professor Justinian Clinton Joseph Galabawa has supervised and examined a good number of postgraduate (Master and PhD) dissertations in the field of educational planning, financing, management and evaluation.
