University of Dar es Salaam through School of Education in fulfilling its mission and vision parallel with Tanzania development vision 2025 is observing that no one is left behind in Education.  Through its Special Educational Needs Unit (SENU), the School of Education (SOED) makes sure that all students with educational needs are supported in equal basis to meet their educational expectation.

In the picture; the Deaf-Blind lady Ms. Justa Antony Sanga who is taking a Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is profound Deaf and low vision is supported by Sign Language Interpreter during all her class sessions and given a lens for writings that have small to average fonts and enlarged writing to font from 22 to above go through her own readings. Through this support, all students can acquire education without segregation.
