Dr. Ahadi Anania is a Lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam School of Education. She holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham.

Ahadi has diverse practical experience and exposure in the field of education both as an educational manager, a teacher educator, a teacher, and a researcher. From 2001 to 2008 she taught private secondary school, government primary school, private university, and she was an educational officer at district level in two different districts before she was employed by the University of Dar Es Salaam in 2009. At the University of Dar es salaam she has coordinated the teaching practice in Ruvuma from 2012/2013 to 2014/2015 and in Katavi region from 2019/2020 and 2021/2022 academic years. She teaches Educational planning and Project design, educational planning and policy making, School Governance, Administrative and Organizational Behavior in Education, and Human Resource Development in Education.

Ahadi’s research interest is in the field of educational leadership, participation in education, and basic education. She involved in a project on Sub-Saharan Instructional leadership in schools. Ahadi also involved in consultancy on curriculum review for Tanzania Vocational Education and Training (TVET) instructors. Currently she is involved in a research on the implications of Covid-19 on equity, access and quality education in Tanzanian universities.
