I am a Senior Lecturer in Science and Technology Education with 12 years experience in teaching, research and consultancy. After graduating with Bachelor of Education in Science, I taught Biology and Chemistry for several months at Edarofta Secondary School. Afterwards, I joined Songea Teachers College as a Tutor in Biology, Educational Measurements and Evaluation and ICT in Education. In 2010, I was recruited by the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Education as a Tutorial Assistant in the department of Educational Psychology and Curriculum Studies. At the same time, I joined Master of Education in Science Education program at the same University. In 2012, I completed my Master's studies and I was promoted to the post of Assistant Lecturer. In 2014, I joined the University of Sussex, Centre for International Education and Development to pursue a Doctoral study in Education. I defended my doctoral thesis in November 2017. Afterwards, I resumed a faculty position in Departmental of Educational Psychology and Curriculum studies, School of Education, University of Dar es Salaam.
